CIMRM Supplement - A cippus from Sidon.
A cippus was discovered in the temple of Echmoun in Sidon and published by M. Dunand. It bears a Greek inscription, saying that it was dedicated to the holy god Asclepios by Theodotus, ἱερεύς of Mithras in the year 251. The local era of Sidon makes that A.D. 140-141.1 Also listed in Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum.2 See also CIMRM 74 - the Sidon Mithraeum.
